Welcome to my Saturday stroll through the park, a collection of blogs from the past week that created static in my airwaves. My mashup is a buffet of sorts from some of the best blogs and most talented bloggers I follow. I know you still have a lot of Christmas shopping to take care of today, so I will keep this one short!
Does your husband spend more time in “the library” on the throne than he does in the kitchen or taking out the trash? Still looking for the perfect Christmas gift for his hobby? You must read Natalie Hartfords’s For the golfer in your life: the potty putter (yes…you read that correctly)
Ok. I’m guilty of this, as well. For another funny blog please read Jenny Hansen’s Blog More Cowbell – My Brother is a “Bag Whore”
Does your wife claim that women are born to shop? Mine does! My daughters think so, as well. I’ve got news for them. Read Jessica O’Neal’s Myth or Reality: A Woman Who Doesn’t Like to Shop
The suspicious death of famed actress Natalie Woods has been back in the news recently. You can’t go the Christmas season without watching Miracle of 34th Street and not admire the talents of a very young Woods as she plays Susan Walker in the film. Karen McFarland takes a look back at Natalie Woods in her blog, Splendour in the Grass
For two great and informative blogs about blogging check out Anne R. Allen’s How To Blog: A Beginner’s Guide for Authors and How Not To Blog: Beginning Blogging for Authors II.
There you have it. I read so many great blogs this week that there is not way possible to include them all here. I hope you enjoy these articles as much as I did. Click on their links. I’m sure you will find, just as I did, that there are some truly talented writers out in the great blogosphere.
I hope you are nowhere near a mall today, and are able to spend a nice Saturday at home relaxing. Leave the long lines and pushing and shoving in the stores to the suckers that haven’t finished their shopping! Happy Saturday in the Park…

This week was a hard week to pick a few blogs, there were so many great ones. I love the picture as well. Have no idea where that is, but it sure looks fun.

Thank you so much for including me, Tim! I’m kind of sitting here with my mouth hanging open in shock that I made it into such a selective mash-up alongside two of my favorite bloggers. Now I am off to check out the two blogging links to see what new thins I can learn. Thanks again!

I wish I knew where this park was located. Looks like a cool Christmas-y place to stroll!

Burrrrr! I’m ready to put the parka and gloves on. Love the lights.
Thank you Tim for the blog love. That was very cool of you. 🙂
I’m with you. Stay out of the mall! Go for a walk in the park instead.
Have a great weekend.

Your welcome Karen. There a ton of great bloggers from our class and it’s really hard to just choose a few!

Woah… Totally mesmerized by that photo! Suitable for such a super mashup.

Thank you August. Your blog redesign is awesome. The photo is perfect for your new tagline. Did you take that photo?

I’m with the rest of this crew – that picture is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life. And wow, my Bag-Whore-Big-Bro made the mashup…I’m so proud!!
There’s a few links I didn’t see before now, so I’m off to check those out. Thanks for the love – I’m so impressed with the bloggers in the WANA711 and the WANA1011 classes…you guys are just ROCKIN’ THE BLOGOSPHERE. 🙂
And, if Jessica O’Neal comes back by, just know that I hate to shop too…can’t wait to read that post.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah y’all!!!

I could totally identify with the bag ho thing. We hunt a lot and we have hunting bags galore with different clothes, game calls, decoys, ammo, etc…
I was lucky to be part of Kristen’s WANA1011 class. There are a ton of great writers in the group and it makes reading blogs a real joy.

Thanks much for the shout-out. And I ditto all the kudos for that amazing photo. Such a fun, eclectic list of links. I haven’t read most of the others–I tend to get into a publishing-industry rut–so I’m going to get clicking. Thanks!

Thank you Tameri. The location of this park has become a big mystery.

Woot woot – thanks sooo much for including me in such a fahhhbulous line-up!
I love the picture as well and I love your title. I always struggle coming up with great titles for blog mash-ups but I LOVE that – stroll through the blogosphere. Very cool!
I’m off to check out the few others that I missed. Thanks Tim!
